Fishing is one of the countries most popular sports. A relaxing day by the brook is all that we need after the hectic schedules of our weekdays.
But as novices we hardly know anything about fishing except that at the end of the day if we are able to catch few good fishes we are the center of all appreciation…but the truth is that even though fishing is one of the most popular, it is one of the most difficult sport and is very varying in nature. The Rod: - Well, thinking of fishing the first thing that comes to our mind is a fishing rod. Well contrary to the usual belief, fishing rods are not the same for all types of fishing. For example if you are fly-fishing you need to buy special rods for that. Secondly and most importantly don’t go for a cheap one at a local sale but find one that you feel comfortable with, according to your height etc.
The Reel: - Now with the rod in your hands you need the right reel to go along with that. Well you can buy them both together for example saltwater fishing caters for a reel protected from salt water.
The lure: - Now to get the fishes biting on to your bait, you need a lure. Like rods and reels lures can also be classifies on the type of fish they are used to catch. On the other hand there are the artificial and live baits.
Live fishing baits are always better but you need to comfortable with handling them.
The Line: - The line is the next essential thing. For all the other things, we can suggest a middle of the road quality, but a line always needs to be of one of the best of its league. Reasons…. well imagine this… You have caught a big fish on your bait, and you are already dreaming off showing it off around your friends and suddenly the line snaps, breaking your dreams into a hundred pieces… Scary??? Well take the advice; don’t let it happen to you. Look for the right weight for your average fish weight.
The cooler: - Now fishing is not an hour job. You are going to spend a lot of time by that lake or pond. So better go prepared with a cooler full of your favorite drink as well as some other accessories to keep you busy.
The “ Helpful ” guide: - Apart from all the above tips you definitely need a experienced fisherman or a good guide book to help you through all the time.
